Is Karma Reincarnation A Viable Truth

Posted in Education on September 6th, 2010 by David Barry – Be the first to comment

If you follow the traditional beliefs of Hinduism and Buddhism, you accept karma reincarnation as truth. You believe that no action goes on that isn’t followed by a reaction at some time in this life or the next. The act of kindness follows you into your next incarnation. When you are plagued by bad fortune, it is said to be a result of you being bad in a past life.

Those who have faith in the concept of karma are convinced that by doing good deeds, they will be rewarded in the next life. Passive behavior is encouraged by the religious leaders. It allows them to have influence over the people. They accept that rewards for goodness will come to them in their next incarnation.

Karma is a do all, be all, answer for everything that happens in life. It encourages passivity rather than taking charge and trying to improve the life you live NOW.

It can be a very negative way to view life in many ways. One leader, a man named James Van Praagh, says he is a psychic who is in touch with the billions of individuals who lived and passed away from life on earth. We can certainly refuse to believe him, however, we cannot definitively prove him wrong.

Citizens of the Western world view reincarnation as a concept not relating to any religious beliefs. Meditation, psychic ability and other methods of dealing with life’s problems are all borrowed from the beliefs of the Eastern world. We don’t believe people who claim to be leaders by virtue of their psychic abilities. Why go through life just accepting whatever happens to us? If we accept that we cannot change anything, we will never make any progress.

Many people turn away from religion because they don’t want to blindly follow without having any control over their life. The idea that karma determines what happens to you no matter how you try to conduct your life. Only helpless souls sit and wring their hands moaning about how badly life is treating them. Realistic and brave folks get up and do something to change the circumstances.

Exploring what may have befallen them in a previous incarnation is like trying to solve a mystery. People go to therapists for answers. Some turn to religious leaders. Some continue their education up to Ph. D. Level and beyond. Delve into your previous lives if you are so inclined. Be safe though. Select a responsible and reputable therapist to take you through the searching process.

Past life regression is only one of many therapies considered quirky. There was rebirthing therapy, primal scream therapy and others that fall outside the parameters of accepted methods. If past life regression will ease your mind in any way, it seems harmless. But, take care and choose a reputable person with good references to take you through the process.

Don’t dismiss the idea of hypnotism. It produces a deep relaxation that is conducive to recovering memories. They will likely be deeply buried memories. Only you and the therapist can decide if they are from your current life or your past life. Karma reincarnation is an interesting topic. If you want to delve into your possibly happy or unhappy memories, it may answer the questions you have been pondering for years.

Rams Foil Comeback Attempt To Beat Bengals In Preseason NFL Play

Posted in Entertainment on September 6th, 2010 by Ross Everett – Be the first to comment

Kyle Boller filled in for an injured Mark Bulger, and the St. Louis Rams improved to 2-1 on the NFL preseason with a 24-21 victory over the host Cincinnati Bengals. The Rams led 24-14 heading into the fourth quarter, but a Bengals TD early in the frame made for some drama down the stretch. The Bengals couldn’t close the deal, however, and dropped to 1-2 on the NFL preseason.

Boller did withstand a hard hit from linebacker Keith Rivers that knocked his helmet off his head. Despite the hit, he Rams #2 QB was 14 of 20 for 96 yards. After the game, he talked about the play:

“I could have slid a little earlier. It is what it is. My chin strap hit just above my eyes. It was a good scramble, but maybe if I can get down a little sooner, the coaches would like that.”

Rivers insisted the hit wasnt intentional:

“I was just trying to get to the ball. It wasn’t anything intentional.”

Boller had struggled last week after starting QB Bulger was forced to leave the game with a broken pinkie finger but played well this week. Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo gave him credit in his postgame media comments:

“He moved the team. He drove us down there after the bad start. When you score on a drive, the quarterback deserves the credit.”

Bengals second string QB J.T. O’Sullivan didnt have it quite so easy”he was sacked three times, lost a fumble and had two passes deflected by linemen. The lost fumble added to the Bengals NFL preseason turnover woes”theyve lost five fumbles and thrown three interceptions for eight turnovers in three games. He spoke of his performance and the need to minimize turnovers afterwards:

“We’ve just got to find a way to eliminate it. It puts you in such a disadvantage any time you turn the ball over. That’s one of the things that has to change immediately.”

Head coach Marvin Lewis concurred:

“When you turn the football over, you have a difficult time winning, whether you’re playing in the regular season, the preseason, junior high, sixth grade, whatever it is.

St. Louis will get the NFL regular season underway on Sunday, September 13th as they travel to the Pacific Northwest to face the Seattle Seahawks. The Bengals open the NFL regular season at home against the Denver Broncos.

A Pocket Packed With Quarters: Playing Arcade Games Machines In Moderation

Posted in Entertainment on September 5th, 2010 by Josh LeGermie – Be the first to comment

“I got a pocket packed with quarters, and I’m headed to the arcade games,” sang Buckner & Garcia in the 1980s melody “Pac-Man Fever.” These days, machines are still gobbling up quarters – occasionally 4 or more at a time – quicker than Pac-Man can take in those pac-dots. Those quarters can also add up quickly, and we usually aren’t aware just how much we are actually feeding into machines. How can you balance a need to let your sons or daughters enjoy themselves on a ride or game now with the desire to save for his or her future? How you avoid spending an hour or so weekly working to cover your snacks from the company’s break area?

First of all, keep in mind just how much you’re paying. From time to time treating your youngsters to a coin operated ride at the nearby mall or getting yourself a snack from a snack machine won’t break your budget, but if you allow your little one to ride every ride every time you pass it or you get three drinks from the work snack machine every day, you could be spending more than you realize. Bring only enough change (or dollar bills) to make thought out buys, and get away from the change-making devices.

Stay clear of bubble-gum machines that dispense toys. The toys are inevitably disappointing, and there’s a chance you’re tempted to continue to feed quarters in the machine until your little one gets the one she wants. Quite often, these toys are dumped promptly.

Save the quarters for trips to a family fun arcade. Look for bargains prior to going, and also use them. Visit when the arcade games center is not busy to maximise fun for children. You can enjoy an hour of family entertainment for a few bucks, and you will actually get some bubble-gum machine toys as part of the package.

Take into account alternatives. When you are a true enthusiast of a particular video game (or arcade games in general), you might in fact spend a smaller amount if you purchase yourself a game for home – no matter if it’s a geniune arcade game or a gaming system with several arcade games is up to you. With your own arcade game, you can always possess the high score! Exactly the same idea relates to food vending machines. When you are regularly paying a lot on food or beverages from vending machines, purchase yourself a supply of snacks or soda pops to take along to work or school. Those individual goody bags are more affordable at the grocery store or wholesale club, and a big bag is actually less expensive yet.

Quarters accumulate -the arcade game industry makes $8.1 billion in profits, based on the website of BMI Gaming, a business that sells coin-operated machines. The next time you are lured to pay out a pocket full of quarters on anything, make an effort to stop and think first. That arcade game or vending device could give you a quarter’s worth of amusement, but you could be much better saving those quarters for something you are going to appreciate a lot more.

Josh LeGermie is enjoying online arcade games so much that he made a decision to follow his own tips here and launch his own arcade, where you can play phoenix arcade game and defender arcade game for free!

Smallville Season 10 – Michael Rosenbaum Is Not Returning

Posted in Entertainment on September 5th, 2010 by Rachel Manus – Be the first to comment

The CW network has announced that it will bring Smallvilleback for a 10th season, but unfortunately Lex Luthor is not coming along for the ride.

The long-running reboot of the Superman story, starring Tom Welling as Clark Kent and Erica Durance as Lois Lane, has enjoyed a ratings revival after being moved to Friday nights in the fall and will stretch it’s run into season ten with an unexpected rush of momentum. Smallville is currently the CW’s best performing show for male audiences and has dramatically improved their Friday night ratings.

Rumors were flying that Michael Rosenbaum would also return to the series and reprise his iconic role as Clark Kent’s greatest enemy Lex Luthor, but Rosenbaum has sadly debunked that report through Twitter.

Smallville revolves around the adventures of Clark Kent, a reporter for the Daily Planet newspaper and also a hero currently called The Blur, as he journeys from small town Kansas farm boy to Metropolis superhero. Clark Kent’s allies include the Green Arrow, who is played by Justin Hartley, and his enemies include the villainous Zod played by Callum Blue.

The current cast of Smallville also includes Allison Mack, whose Chloe Sullivan was created just for Smallville and was not originally a DC comic character. Allison Mack is the only series regular from Smallville season one still on the show besides Welling. This season Chloe’s role as Watchtower for the Justice League has given her a place in the traditional Superman mythos for the first time.

During the current season it’s been revealed that Lex Luthor is still alive and was not killed by the Green Arrow as previously thought. Michael Rosenbaum played Lex through season seven and fans had hoped he would make a return.

Smallville premiered on the CW back in 2001. Tom Welling has now portrayed Clark Kent longer than any other actor, except Christopher Reeve who played him over a long span in the Superman movies.

Smallville was developed for television by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar based on the popular DC Comics characters. Kelly Souders and Brian Peterson serve as the current executive producers.

How Compounding And Medicine Work Together

Posted in Health & Fitness on September 5th, 2010 by Adriana Noton – Be the first to comment

Due to the fact that there are several different types of medicine, you may wish to know how compounding medicine works. If you want to understand the relationship between the two, then you are reading the right information. Keep reading to see how compounding pharmacy and BHRT work together to create beneficial medicine.

First, you will need to understand what a compounding pharmacy actually is. This is when a pharmacist, physician or vet mixes together a variety of medicines together based on what the patient needs. All compounding is done for medical benefits and includes changing a pill form into a liquid form to avoid allergies that may occur. This is also a fact of certain doses that are needed. And flavors can be added to make the medication to taste better.

For the longest time only pharmacists had the ability to compound medicines. Now compound pharmacies are known for being able to convert powder medicines into a gel pill form for easier consumption. They can also be mixed to allow for the proper does to be taken. As a result, people depend on compound pharmacies today for successfully mixing the proper and best dose available to patients.

This also works in the case of pets or other animals. Medication doses are given based off of how much the person weighs. General medicine such as Tylenol is given as a one size fits all. However, larger people (like adults) may need double doses or two pills to be effective. Like someone weighing 120 pounds may need less of a dose than that of someone weighing 175 pounds.

Now let us take a look at how BHRT or bio identical hormone replacement therapy works with compounding pharmacies. First let us take a look of what BHRT is. BHRT or bio identical hormone replacement therapy uses hormones that are endogenous for hormone replacement. Testing the blood and saliva is done in order to target the hormone levels in the body of the individual.

The hormones used for BHRT consist of estrone, estradiol and progesterone. Estrone is made from the gonads, or ovaries in premenopausal women and this is beneficial to menopausal women. Estradiol is the sex hormone and produced from testosterone which plays a part in reproduction. And progesterone is used by ladies who have gone through menopause but did not have a hysterectomy.

The purpose of bio identical hormone replacement therapy is to assist in easing the side effects that women experience with menopause, perimenopause and post menopause. The hormones needed are purchased at a compound pharmacy and the pharmacist will mix the hormones together based on the needs of the woman who is going through the symptoms. The woman’s doctor finds the right dose by doing testing for the patient in question.

In conclusion, compounding pharmacies and BHRT will work together to fit the needs of the patient accordingly. This will help to ease the symptoms of a woman while she is going through this major life change.

Compounding pharmacy Canada is one of the most trusted and established compounding pharmacies throughout Toronto, offering a wide variety of medical solutions from BHRT to Bioidentical hormone replacement and much more.
